T.H.E R.A.M.B.L.I.N.G.S
Had been sleeping late these past few days. Bad girl I am, yes.

Nope !
Then what?
Hihihi... I got carried away reading a Malay novel by Areila Sahimi entitled Baju Pengantin Mak Andam. You can read the synopsis here.
When I read a novel, I will always put myself as the main character in the book, hence the feeling of happiness, the sadness, the tears, the anger and everything that the character carries. Am I being :
a. over-react
b. over-sensitive
c. silly
d. all the above
e. none of the above
You tell me.... :D
T.H.E R.E.C.I.P.E
Got this recipe from Che Mat Gebu's blog. And since I don't really have all the ingredients he had used, I just cooked whatever I can dig out from my so congested fridge. I think if the fridge is able to speak, it'll scream at the top of it's voice.... RETURN ME BACK TO WHERE I BELONG ! Hahahaha.... But I guess, if it really can talk, I'll be the first to run out of the house! Imagine... a talking fridge... gulp... giving me goosebumps ! Hahaha...
Thank you Mat for sharing this recipe with us. Allow me to re-post it here the way I had 'derhakakan' your recipe. For a better looking dish, please feel free to visit Che Mat Gebu's entry

Asam Pedas Daging
T.H.E R.A.M.B.L.I.N.G.S
Q : No updates during the weekend mama?
A : As you can see... hihihi...
Q : But why?
A : Because I am lazy..
Q : Oh you lazy bum ol' lady...
A : Hellooooo.... I have not finished my sentence okay... I am just lazy to update the blog but that does not mean I am lazy to do other things! I can wear a smile on my face now that I had such a lovely date with my darling Miss Philips and Miss Acer. Two days ironing while watching Safa and Marwah on my laptop is the best way to spend my weekend! Hubby was out golfing again... after a two months break due to his back pain. That gave me ample time to date with my two darlings!
Q : Oh I see...
A : Moral of the story .... jangan potong cakap orang tua-tua...... erk....... dah tua ke?

Have a nice day!
I must have had such a good sleep yesterday. At 6 am, I woke up after the alarm that I had set in my handphone started screaming. Woke hubby up and after he had left for work, I continued my sleep. I didn't realized when I had off the other 2 alarms that I had set. I dreamt, I met up with a group of my ex-schoolmates when I was sweeping a room in a shopping complex. What on earth was I doing, sweeping a room in a shopping complex!!! I am not a cleaner, am I? Hahaha... When I opened my eyes, it was 7.26 am! Boy did I jump out of the bed! Not only me, my dear boy had the same impact! I am very sorry Boboy. What a lousy mom you have! He was ready in a jiff and had to F1 to school. But guess what, we weren't the last to arrive though the time at my dashboard was showing 7.36 am. There were another 2 cars driving in to drop off their children...

Yesterday when I was enjoying my time ironing, I was thinking whether to cook or buy takeaways for lunch. At the very last minute, I made up my mind to cook. When I thought I had nothing to cook, surprisingly I ended up with these colorful menus. Alhamdulillah....
I had tried a recipe from Kak Liza's 1Hari 1 Resipi book. Thank you Kak Liza for sharing the recipe with us. Allow me to re-post it here for others to view. That book of hers is worth keeping. Not only it provides you with easy and simple recipes but also it 'served' you with mouth watering looking food.

Daging Masak Kicap
T.H.E R.A.M.B.L.I.N.G.S
Yesterday I had a few doubts... which makes me restless and ended up feeling tired...
Firstly, I kept thinking whether to bake the Mama Carries cookies, ordered by a friend of mine, or not. Finally made up my mind, not to do it as I am not in the mood actually. Ended up.... mopping the whole house instead...
Secondly, had to decide whether to bake another batch of 100 pieces tart shells yesterday night or this morning. For the very first time, after a good few thousands of tart shells that I've made before, yesterday I burnt TWO trays of tart shells! Huwaaaaaaa... I must have done something really bad to be 'paid cash' by Allah. Please Allah forgive me for my negligence.... Allah hu Akbar! After dinner, I sat down preparing another set of 100 pieces. It's time consuming, but I don't have a choice because Kak Long'g going to collect them this morning. Alhamdulillah, this time, they came out nice. I just hope that Kak Long thinks the same.

DAGING MASAK KICAP
Sumber : Ros Jintanmanis
Bahan-bahanya :
400 gram daging boneless ( dihiris nipis-nipis atau di potong dadu kecil)
2 biji kentang sederhana besar ~ dikupas, dihiris sederhana tebal, digoreng dan ketepikan (*Mama tambah)
3 sudu besar kicap manis
1 sudu besar kicap pekat
1/2 biji bawang besar
2 inci halia
1 biji bawang putih
2 sudu besar lada kisar ( ni kalau nak ganti dengan hirisan cili padi pun boleh)
1 batang kayu manis
2 kuntum bunga lawang
1/2 cawan air
sedikit minyak untuk menumis
1/2 biji bawang besar ( dihiris kasar)
Caranya
1. Mula-mula blender bawang besar, bawang putih dah halia hingga hancur, ( kalau nak hiris nipis pun boleh) panaskan minyak dan tumis kayu manis dan bunga lawang, kemudian curah bahan kisar tadi dan lada kisar, tumis hingga naik bau dan agak garing.
Selamat Mencuba.
( kalau nak rebus daging sampai empuk pun boleh, bila masak tu boleh kurangkan kuantiti airnya)
