4 egg yolks
135 ml water
85 ml vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
100g sugar
135g flour
15g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
* I added 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

90g sugar
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
Method :
1. Pour egg yolks, sugar, vegetable oil, water and vanilla essence into the mixing bowl.

2. Add the remaining ingredients in (A) into the bowl.
3. Mix (A) evenly till smooth. Set aside.
4. Whisk the egg whites in (B) till soft peaks appear. Add sugar and cream of tartar and continue to whip till stiff.
5. Fold (B) into (A) till well combined. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 C for 40 minutes. Immediately invert it after removal from oven. Leave to cool. When cake is cold, remove from mould.

Menjadi elok kek Chiffon MamaFaMi nipun kepingin nak buat jugak,saya pantang nampak sedap dan cantik mulalah kepingin nak buat. biasa tengok org guna acuan yg berlubang tengah utk chiffon macam yg MamaFami guna ni tp kalau bakar dlm round tin biasa tak menjadi ya?acuan nya ada tp tinggal kat M'sia,sayang nak beli lagi...kalau tak boleh tunggu balik cuti akhir thn nantilah. kalau vegetables oil utk chiffon ni biasa MamaFami guna yg mana ya?

ReplyDeleteMama pun kalau tengok orang masak jadi cantik, memang geram je nak cuba. So far, kalau chiffon diorang memang guna acuan lubang tengah. Kalau round tin biasa tu mama tak sure la sebab chiffon ni very light. Takut kalau berat di tengah nanti dia tenggelam pulak...Vegetable oil tu, mama hentam je apa-apa oil yang available kat rumah. Hari tu sebenarnya mama gunakan minyak jagung.

Kek ni memang sedap. Taklah kering sangat. Makan pun tak tersedak. Tapi lembuttttttt je masuk dalam mulut! Nyam nyam....bila nak buat? ;-) Dah ye ye ni mama promosi!
