At the moment, I am strucked by the L.A.Z.Y virus, to the scale of 4 out of 5. It was 5 previously but I think, I am getting much better in fighting it. Wish me luck in my battle of the virus! Hahaha....
I wasn't kidding when I said the above. I had to cook because my mom is with us at the moment. Otherwise, the kids will have to make do with all those simple and effortless menu. Poor kids!!! But I don't think they'd mind because Fatin is not a rice kind of person. And Syahmi, well that boy is easily pleased, which makes the mama 'naik lemak!!! And dearest hubby...he's very simple. Anything will do. Am I the lucky one or not! Muahhh...love you guys with all my heart!
Anyway, before the virus gets the best of me, let me just post this crab recipe I had tried a few weeks ago. We went to Bagan Lalang, just to see the place after hubby's friend told him about it. On our way back, we came by the stall selling fresh fish, crabs and prawns. Since it had been quite a while I didn't eat crabs, we bought just 2 pieces. And the best thing is, the lady helped to clean the crabs and the fishes. All I have to do when we got home was just to wash it with lime and ready to cook! So this was the end result of the crabs.... yummy! Thanks Rinn!
KETAM MASAK LEMAK CILI PADI

Ingredients :
4 medium crabs, cleaned and halved
5 shallots ~ minced
3 cloves garlic ~ minced
1 inch fresh turmeric
1 inch ginger
5 bird eye chillies (more if you prefer it hot) ~ minced
enough coconut milk
1 piece dried tamarind
lemon grass ~ bruised
Tomatoes ~ quartered
salt to taste
cooking oil
Method :
1. Heat cooking oil in a pot. Add in the minced ingredients till fragrant. Add in lemon grass.
2. Stir for a while then pour in the coconut milk.Keep stirring.
3. When the gravy starts boiling, add in crabs. Leave for a few minutes before adding the dried tamarind and tomatoes. If you have sliced pineapple, add in as well.
4. Add salt to taste and leave to cook.
5. Remove from heat.

Tote bag & pencil case tu Along pinjam yg dah siap dari kawan buat contoh,pas tu pepandai pomen2 buat sendiri with some tips from them. Buku takda yg good untuk rekmen. Ada one book tu pun tak clear sgt instruction dia. Mama nak buat projeck menjahit ke ni? Mesin Along pun dh berkarat ni... lama sgt tak menjahit.
ReplyDeleteTote bag & pencil case tu along buat quilt dulu, pas tu baru potong saiz & bentuk yg Along suka. Kalau mama tak reti buat quilt, mama lapik dgn colar hard cloth (yg glue dia tu iron type), pastu mama letak backing material, pastu cantum kiri & bawah pun ok, tu yg paling simple. Cuba mama cari buku kat kedai yg jual quilt material ataupun at bookshop dekat bahagian jual imported magazines. Hope this simple tips can help.
