True Sponge Cake






TRUE SPONGE CAKE

Ingredients :

6 egg whites
6 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 cup flour

Method :

1. Beat the egg whites till stiff. Set aside.
2. Beat the egg yolks till thick and lemon colored.
3. Add sugar gradually then add the lemon juice and rind.
4. Cut and fold in the sifted flour.
5. Cut and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
6. Bake in an ungreased pan in a very moderate oven 300 - 350F

  2. Rajinnya mama wat kek birthday ni. Kombinasi warna yg menarik. Teringat tahun2 lewat 70an dulu. Hampir tiap2 tahun wat kek besday anak2 sedara; dari angka 1 sampailah 5 thn. Seronok tapi byk keje ah.

    Waalaikumussalam Su. Salam perkenalan jua dari mama. Untuk membuat kek nombor 2 yang bersaiz kecil dari A4 paper tu, mama hanya gunakan satu adunan sahaja. Loyang pula, mama gunakan loyang rectangle bersaiz 8.5in x 12 in
