Bean Sprouts

BEAN SPROUT

1. Wash and soak 2 tablespoons of Mung Bean (kacang hijau) for 2, 3 hours. 2. Rinse the seeds into a container. Spread them nicely.
3. Cover them with adequate water. Keep them in a dark place.
4. The next day, rinse the seeds twice a day, morning and evening.
5. Repeat the same procedure for 4 to 5 days until they are ready to harvest

  1. Ni rupanya cara nak buat taugeh yg senang. sbb pernah kat kg dulu tengok org cambahkan taugeh ni dlm pasir yg basah tak tahulah berapa hari..masa nak ambil susahnya sbb bercampur dgn pasir....

    Hmm tak pernah pulak tahu buat taugeh dalam pasir. Cara lain yang pernah orang ajar pada mama ialah, taburkan kacang hijau atas guni, cover dengan guni tu, simpan dalam tempat gelap. Setiap hari kena simbah/lembabkan dua kali, pagi dan petang. Tapi kurang suka cara tu sebab slightly berbau, pasal guni lembab kan...Tapi bila taugeh tu dah bercambah, cantik je dia berdiri antara guni tu tau...

    Waalaikumussalam cikwan. Aik...terkenang-kenang memori silam ke? Hehehe....Mama pun kalau dok tengok gambar kat Malawi tu, macam nostalgia la pulak...Kat Malawi, sayur-sayuran banyak dan harga pun not bad...so memang puaslah makan sayur kat sana...

    Taugeh tu buat masa kat Malawi dulu. Yang ter-rajin buat taugeh kat sana tu sebab taugeh mahal...dahlah tu, tak rupa taugeh pun sebab kacang tu baru bercambah je, diorang dah jual...

  9. hi mamafami, my first time here..

    suka sangat dapat 'tanam' taugeh sendiri.. watching them grow day after day, rasa nak nangis masa stir fry, nurture them jez to kill them in the end.. waa....

    tapi napa some kepala taugeh tu jadi pink eh.. he he.. i memang tak reti bab bab tanam menanam ni...
