Entry yang terlewat......

It is 19th Syawal today. Alhamdulillah hubby and me managed to complete our Sunnat Syawal yesterday.
And this year, I realised that I had not put any Eid Cards nor wish all of you a happy Eid before 1st Syawal. As mentioned in the previous entry, I was pretty tight up.

Since we celebrate Eid for a month, I think it's not wrong for me to still wish all of you a Happy Eid, right....

Thanks to Dr Inahar and Leen Hussain for passing me these Eid cards. Sorry for taking such a long time to collect them.

This year's Eid was full of surprises. Normally, we only visit our relatives' houses for Eid. But this year, hubby and me, even went to our friends' houses. And mind you, friend with an 's' a.k.a plural! Not only one friend but a few! I like!!! And not only that, some friends even came by my parents' place. It sure is a HAPPY EID! Thanks to Lea and family for dropping by. We surely had a 'loud' day, don't we! From my house, we went to Mamazieza's house and the loudness continues! Haha...happening oo kalau orang Melaka jumpa orang Melaka di bumi Melaka! Hahaha... betul tak Mamazieza?.

The next day, hubby drove both Mama Melakas (Mamazieza and me) to meet the ever so famous Mat Gebu and family. Thank you dearest darling hubby for driving us there. It was my first and Mamazieza's second time meeting Mat, but it feels like we've known each other for ages. We had a wonderful lunch at Mat's place and hubby really enjoyed the meal...

Thank you Mat... agak-agak...nak ajak lagi tak kami ke sana?

Rolled Blueberry Tarts (cookies)

T.H.E R.A.M.B.L.I.N.G.S

Jumaa Mubaraq....

When was the last time I updated my page? Let me check.....5th September???!!! And today is the 24th September already!!! OMG, it's been like almost 20 days this blog was left untouched! Goodness me, what had happened? Is this blog closing?

Well, life had been VERY HECTIC for me since the last 2 weeks of Ramadhan and still is till today. During Ramadhan, I was busy baking tart shells, cookies, brownies and cupcakes for orders. I was very thankful that Eid was on Friday and not Thursday! That Friday, I just had to freeze my baking activities and concentrate on clearing the upside down house first. I wiped the furnitures as much as I could, swept the floor, mopped the whole house and change the curtains! And would you believe it if I said, I baked another cookies after Isyak that day! Well this year, I've learnt my lesson the hard way. I must stop delaying my work even if it seems like there's not much to be done because once you start doing it, you'll be surprise how much the load of work is! Remember that MamaFaMi!!!!

At the moment, I am still busy baking another batch of tart shells for a few ladies who had placed their orders earlier on. I do really appreciate their understanding. Besides baking tart shells, I am my hubby's loyal chaperone. I am always on standby mode. So, to all my YM and SKYPE gangs, sorry all, I hardly go online nowadays......

Note : I still have two Eid cards to collect! Oh gosh, hopefully I would be able to do so, soonest possible....

The recipe that I'll be sharing today comes from the ever famous chef in Sedenak whom I managed to drop by his place during the first week of Eid, accompanied by dearest hubby, MamaZieza and her lovely daughter, Diana. Thank you so much Mat for your warm hospitality. Not to mention, our heartful thanks to Mak Yah, Bak and Brother Mat for keeping us company throughout our stay. It was such a pleasure to know all of you in person and hope to meet again one day. At least, now, when I mentioned Mat, I don't have to imagine anymore....

Naseem's Caramel Pudding

T.H.E R.A.M.B.L.I.N.G.S

Thousands and millions apologies to all. I have been neglecting my blog for quite sometime now. Not on purpose but time is not on my side. And this time it's not just excuses but for real. I was busy baking cookies to fulfill the orders. Not that I have thousands and thousands of cookies to bake, but I started late, and this is what I get. I am still with my bad habit...doing things at last minute basis. When will I change? Maybe...when the time is right! Hahaha...

I really miss blog hopping and looking at all the yummy food you guys had created with love. Hopefully when everything is over, I'd be able to visit all of you. In the meantime, I just wish all of you a very good health and may you and your family be in Allah's mercy for always... take care

The recipe for today is this caramel pudding that I had made last week. I've posted this recipe before in my Fotopage when I was still in Africa. This lovely recipe was passed to me by Naseem, my dear friend who recently gave birth to a lovely girl, Amirah. Congratulation Naseem and Ish for your new bundle of joy! The best part is, Amirah shares the same birth date as her elder sister Hannah, 8th August! Isn't that sweet!
